Our Building

Placed on two and half acres in Bastian, VA, Virginia Steel and Fabrication is located just off Interstate 77 in the Bland County Industrial Park.  Our fabrication shop is located within 30,000 square feet of space and our offices consist of 2,400 square feet of space.  We have been here since 2008, doubling the previous capacity from our former Bluefield, VA home.

Our Fabrication Shop

Our fabrication shop is divided into three 50 foot wide x 200 foot long bays.  Each bay has two 10 ton remote control operated overhead cranes.  The two outside bays have a hook height of 15'6" and the middle bay has a hook heigth of 19'6".  We currently have 10 welding stations and  one stainless steel welding station which are operated by certified welders.

Our Steel Warehouse

Our warehouse facility stocks many items in 20 foot lengths.  These items include hot rolled angles, bars, flat plate, reinforcing bars, channels, grating and metal decking.  We also stock cold finish bars and rounds.  Other items in stock include various thicknesses of sheets and plates.  We have access for quick delivery on products not in stock which includes steel beams, round pipe, square and rectangular tubing, and joists. Specialty items such as aluminum or stainless shapes are also available.
